It’s in the name … ‘Stronger Network’ alludes to so much about what’s in the bible about ‘Strength’. The word ‘strength’ actually appears more than 360x across the Old and New Testaments. Never about our own strength first and foremost, Stronger Network is about finding God’s strength.
We’re a platform and network designed to strengthen your faith and help you impact the world as you step into your calling wherever that might be.
We want to see more of God’s Kingdom and we think the way we’re going to see that is working together to strengthen the faith of Christian men and women across the country which in turn will impact the world around us. We’re about releasing entrepreneurial creativity into the broadest sense across the scattered church.
Church of England priest Rev Matt Hogg had a growing passion for Stronger Network over a number of years and hosted various events at his local church. During lockdown of 2020 with the help of key people and short term teams, Stronger Network launched two online events (one of which was over 4 weeks with more than 100+ sessions).
Matt was originally stirred by Nehemiah’s account of rebuilding the broken walls of Jerusalem. There was a desperate need to rebuild walls but also to strengthen God’s people and their sense of identity to be a ‘light to the nations’. They faced deafening shouts of persecution and no doubt felt weak and vulnerable, but Nehemiah prayed, ‘now strengthen my hands’ (Neh 6.9).
